  1. The Cache ON INIT is an extension that should turn on the 68030
  2. data cache. It's for use with the new 8•24GC INIT, use of which
  3. seems to turn the data cache off.

  5. No promises, no guarantees. Ed Ludwig, who noted the problem, has
  6. asked Apple whether there's a reason it turns off the data cache
  7. when the 8•24GC INIT loads. He hasn't gotten an answer; pending
  8. that, those willing to take the risk may enjoy some speedup.

  10. Don't run this on other than 68030 machines. Tested on a IIfx, only,
  11. with System 7.01.
